Protecting your people and visitors from the risk of fire
eIgnis® is a new software solution from NonVerba which has been designed to help companies with large portfolios of buildings develop a clear picture of risk and have the ability to take action on that risk when required.
The system enables a company to define its list of buildings that need to be considered for assessment and through an online coordination process; assessors can be assigned to take on the responsibility to do the fire risk assessment.
Assessors have the option to use paper based forms for doing the assessment in its most primitive form or alternatively they can use an online web form or in the best case use a Tablet PC to enable them to collect data real time to their database as they walk around the building.
Once data has been collected relating to statutory log book status, specific questions in line with adherence to government legislation and their current asset (fire extinguishers etc) allocation and distribution this can then be synchronised back to a central online database when confirmed.
The centralisation of all assessment data ensures that the company responsible for the safety of its staff and visitors are always aware of those risks that have been identified through the independent assessment process and colour coded to signify when action should be taken based on company standards.
The system also allows the company to maintain CAD floor plans associated with its buildings so that recommendations can also be visually supported to help with a rich picture of the situation being presented by the Assessor.
Once submissions have been made by all assessors, in some cases nationally, the central managers within the business responsible for risk mitigation can than review the recommendations being made by the assessors and take action if required.
One important feature of the system is that all actions taken are also reflected on the CAD diagrams automatically ensuring that the rich picture of a floor's current status is maintained in line with database activity at all times.
